We present a series of cosmological magnetohydrodynamic simulations that simultaneously follow the formation of a galaxy cluster and evolution of magnetic fields ejected by an active galactic nucleus (AGN). Specifically, we investigate the influence of both the epoch of the AGN (z ~ 3-0.5) and the AGN energy (~3 × 1057- 2 × 1060 erg) on the final magnetic field distribution in a relatively massive cluster (M vir ~ 1015 M ☉).
