Banana (Musa acuminata) peel is a rich source of many nutrients and considered high in carbohydrates. It has been traditionaly used to treat diarrhea, anemia and ulcers. Some studies have shown that banana peels possess antioxidant and antiinflammatory properties. This study was performed to evaluate the wound healing activity of banan peels extract (BPE ) in rabbit.
