The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of aqueous extract of Moringa Oleifera leaves on body weight, plasma glucose, insulin, lipid profile, HOMA and Oral Glucose Tolerance Test in Insulin resistant (IR) and type 1 diabetic rat models. IR was induced by high fructose diet and type 1 diabetes was induced by intraperitoneal injection of Streptozotocin (55 mg / kg body weight).
