A synthetic EGF-like (EGFL) peptide (DdEGFL1), equivalent to the first EGFL domain in the extracellular matrix protein CyrA, has previously been shown to enhance random cell motility and cAMP-mediated chemotaxis in Dictyostelium discoideum.
