    • Herbal extracts have been successfully used in dentistry as tooth cleaning and antimicrobial plaque agents. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical effects of a dental gel containing barberry extracts (from Berberis vulgaris) on gingivitis and microbial plaque control.
