The paper investigates the affects of Shadow economy on FDI using panel data test in 4 regions i. e Europe, South and North America, Africa and Middle East, and Asia and Oceania for period from 2000 to 2008. The panel data estimation results show that shadow economy is statistically significant in Europe and South and North America but contrastingly, it has no effect in Africa and Middle East, and Asia and Oceania.
