Abstract The mouse, 24 h after mating, has been used as an experimental model to determine the site of production of early pregnancy factor (EPF). Results have shown that EPF is formed as two separate components, which appear similar to component A and component B formed after dissociation of EPF by 40% ammonium sulphate.
