We study 10D super Yang–Mills theory with the gauge groups E6, E7 and E8. We consider the torus/orbifold compactification with magnetic fluxes and Wilson lines. They lead to 4D interesting models with three families of quarks and leptons, whose profiles in extra dimensions are quasi-localized because of magnetic fluxes.

We study the flavor structure in $SO(32)$ heterotic string theory on six-dimensional torus with magnetic fluxes. In particular, we focus on models with the flavor symmetries $SU(3)_f$ and…

We study the flavor structure of four-dimensional (4D) effective theories, which are derived from extra dimensional theories with magnetic fluxes and non-Abelian Wilson lines. We study zero-mode wave…

We study supersymmetric (SUSY) models derived from the ten-dimensional SUSY Yang- Mills theory compactified on magnetized orbifolds, with nonvanishing Fayet-Iliopoulos (FI) terms induced by magnetic…

A bstractWe propose new backgrounds of extra dimensions to lead to four-dimensional chiral models with three generations of matter fermions, that is T2/ZN twisted orbifolds with magnetic fluxes. We…

Extended gauge symmetries in F-theory

We study gauge symmetry in F-theory in light of global aspects. For this, we consider not only a simple (local) group, but also a semi-simple group with Abelian factors. Once we specify the complete…

We study (4+2n)-dimensional N=1 super Yang-Mills theory on the orbifold background with non-vanishing magnetic fluxes. In particular, we study zero-modes of spinor fields. The flavor structure of our…

Using the field theoretical approach introduced by Cremades, Ibanez and Marchesano for describing open strings attached to D9 branes having different magnetizations, we give a procedure for…

We present non-supersymmetric toroidal compactifications of type-I string theory with both constant background NSNS two-form flux and non-trivial magnetic flux on the various D9-branes. The…
Higher order couplings in magnetized brane models
- Physics

We compute three-point and higher order couplings in magnetized brane models. We show that higher order couplings are written as products of three-point couplings. This behavior is the same as higher…

A orbifold compactification of the E8xE8 heterotic string which leads to the (supersymmetric) standard model gauge group and matter content and the model is consistent with gauge coupling unification.
