Dear Sir We read with interest the article by Palanivelu et al. [1] reporting on transvaginal endoscopic appendectomy in human, and the letters by Rattner [2, 3] and Slim and Launay-Savary [4] referring to that paper and commenting on the vaginal route for natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) procedures.
