The oligonucleotide Dz13 is a DNA enzyme (deoxyribozyme) that cleaves c-Jun mRNA. It has efficacious effects against tumors directly, is active against tumor-induced angiogenesis, inhibits neointima formation after arterial injury, and controls inflammatory responses.
