HT to the cell markedly augmented the outward current due to an increase in the Ca2+ current exclusively, the effect of which being mediated by cholera toxin-sensitive G-protein as previously reported. Intracellular injection of either Clostridium difficile toxin B or Clostridium botulinum C3 exoenzyme, blocker of small G-protein RhoA-C, depressed the augmenting effect of 5HT on the outward current.
