Renormalized Hamiltonians for gluons are constructed using a perturbative boost-invariant renormalization group procedure for effective particles in light-front QCD, including terms up to third order. The effective gluons and their Hamiltonians depend on the renormalization group parameter \ensuremath{\lambda}, which defines the width of momentum-space form factors that appear in the renormalized Hamiltonian vertices. Third-order corrections to the three-gluon vertex exhibit asymptotic freedom…

### Boost-invariant Hamiltonian approach to heavy quarkonia

• Physics
• 2006
Light-front Hamiltonian formulation of QCD with only one flavor of quarks is used in its simplest approximate version to calculate masses and boost-invariant wave functions of $c\overline{c}$ or

### Effective-particle approach to bound states of quarks and gluons in QCD

• Physics
• 2017
A general approach to the construction of bound states in quantum field theory, called the renormalization group procedure for effective particles (RGPEP), was applied recently to single heavy-flavor

### Description of bound states and scattering processes using Hamiltonian renormalization group procedure for effective particles in quantum field theory

This thesis presents examples of a perturbative construction of Hamiltonians Hλ for effective particles in quantum field theory (QFT) on the light front. These Hamiltonians (1) have a well-defined

### Asymptotic freedom in the Hamiltonian approach to binding of color

We derive asymptotic freedom and the SU (3) Yang-Mills β -function using the renormalization group procedure for effective particles. In this procedure, the concept of effective particles of size s

### Large-momentum convergence of Hamiltonian bound-state dynamics of effective fermions in quantum field theory

• Physics

Contributions to the bound-state dynamics of fermions in local quantum field theory from the region of large relative momenta of the constituent particles are studied and compared in two different

### From Asymptotic Freedom Toward Heavy Quarkonia Within the Renormalization-Group Procedure for Effective Particles

The renormalization group procedure for effective particles (RGPEP), developed as a nonperturbative tool for constructing bound states in quantum field theories, is applied to QCD. The approach stems

### COLOR VAN DER WAALS FORCES BETWEEN HEAVY QUARKONIA IN EFFECTIVE QCD

The perturbative renormalization group for light-front QCD Hamiltonians produces a logarithmically rising inter-quark potential already in second order, when Fock sectors with effective (constituent)

### Hypothesis of Quark Binding by Condensation of Gluons in Hadrons

Hypothesis of quark binding through condensation of gluons inside hadrons is formulated in the context of a renormalization group procedure for effective particles (RGPEP) in the light-front (LF)
