We summarise results on the infrared behaviour of Landau gauge QCD from the Green's functions approach and lattice calculations. Approximate, nonperturbative solutions for the ghost, gluon and quark propagators as well as first results for the quark-gluon vertex from a coupled set of Dyson-Schwinger equations are compared to quenched and unquenched lattice results. Almost quantitative agreement is found for all three propagators. Similar effects of unquenching are found in both approaches. The… Expand

Infrared behavior of the ghost-gluon vertex in Landau gauge Yang-Mills theory
A semiperturbative calculation of the ghost-gluon vertex in Landau-gauge Yang-Mills theory in four and three Euclidean space-time dimensions is presented. Nonperturbative gluon and ghost propagatorsExpand
Quark–gluon vertex in general kinematics
We compute the quark–gluon vertex in quenched lattice QCD in the Landau gauge, using an off-shell mean-field $\mathcal{O}(a)$-improved fermion action. The Dirac-vector part of the vertex is computedExpand
The quark–gluon vertex in Landau gauge QCD: Its role in dynamical chiral symmetry breaking and quark confinement
The infrared behavior of the quark–gluon vertex of quenched Landau gauge QCD is studied by analyzing its Dyson Schwinger equation. Building on previously obtained results for Green functions in theExpand
Analytic structure of the Landau-gauge gluon propagator.
The analytic structure of the nonperturbative gluon propagator violates the Osterwalder-Schrader positivity condition, confirming the absence of gluons from the asymptotic spectrum of the theory. Expand
A Dyson-Schwinger Approach to Finite Temperature QCD
The different phases of quantum chromodynamics at finite temperature are studied. To this end the nonperturbative quark propagator in Matsubara formalism is determined from its equation of motion,Expand
Infrared properties of QCD from Dyson-Schwinger equations
I review recent results on the infrared properties of QCD from Dyson-Schwinger equations. The topics include infrared exponents of one-particle irreducible Green's functions, the fixed pointExpand
Strongly-Coupled Unquenched QED4 Propagators Using Schwinger-Dyson Equations
We study unquenched QED in four dimensions using renormalised Schwinger-Dyson equations and focus on the behaviour of the fermion and photon propagators. For this purpose we use an improvedExpand
Pseudoscalar and vector mesons as qbar q bound states
Two-body bound states such as mesons are described by solutions of the Bethe-Salpeter equation. We discuss recent results for the pseudoscalar and vector meson masses and leptonic decay constants,Expand
Solving coupled Dyson-Schwinger equations on a compact manifold
Abstract We present results for the gluon and ghost propagators in SU (N) Yang–Mills theory on a four-torus at zero and non-zero temperatures from a truncated set of Dyson–Schwinger equations. WhenExpand
Building the Full Fermion-Photon Vertex of QED by Imposing Multiplicative Renormalizability of the Schwinger-Dyson Equations for the Fermion and Photon Propagators
In principle, calculation of a full Green's function in any field theory requires knowledge of the infinite set of multipoint Green's functions, unless one can find some way of truncating theExpand

Analytic structure of the gluon and quark propagators in Landau gauge QCD
In Landau gauge QCD, the infrared behavior of the propagator of transverse gluons can be analytically determined to be a power law from Dyson–Schwinger equations. This propagator clearly showsExpand
Unquenched gluon propagator in Landau gauge
