This paper studies the dynamical behavior near one kind of singularity solutions (self-similar solutions) for the classcial Born-Infeld equation in 1 + 1 dimension. Lynapunov nonlinear stabil- ity of those self-similar solutions are given inside a strictly proper subset of the backward light cone.
