  • Abstract The dynamic relaxation characteristics of Matrimid ® (BTDA–DAPI) polyimide have been investigated using dynamic mechanical and dielectric methods. Matrimid exhibits three motional processes with increasing temperature: two sub-glass relaxations (γ and β transitions), and the glass—rubber (α) transition.
