Changes in cell-to-cell contact and distribution of cytoskeletal components were investigated during in vitro culture of cattle oocyte cumulus complexes (OCC). Freeze-fracture analysis (FF), microinjections of the fluorescent dye Lucifer Yellow (LY), immunofluorescence, and ultrastructural immunocytochemistry were used.
