A quantum-mechanical many-body system with a potential proportional to the pairwise inverse-square distance possesses a strong-weak coupling duality. Using this duality we construct a parent Hamiltonian describing the system of particles and quasiparticles. The construction of the Hamiltonian and the solutions found are of a hierarchical nature.

Solitons and excitations in the duality-based matrix model

We analyse a specific, duality-based generalization of the hermitean matrix model. The existence of two collective fields enables us to describe specific excitations of the hermitean matrix model. By

Matrix-model dualities in the collective field formulation

We establish a strong-weak coupling duality between two types of free matrix models. In the large-N limit, the real-symmetric matrix model is dual to the quaternionic-real matrix model. Using the

Solitons and giants in matrix model

We present a method for solving BPS equations obtained in the collective‐field approach to matrix models. The method enables us to find BPS solutions and quantum excitations around these solutions in

Exactly solvable three-body systems with internal degrees of freedom

The approach of multi-dimensional SUSY quantum mechanics is used in an explicit construction of exactly solvable three-body (and quasi-exactly-solvable N-body) matrix problems on a line. From

Deformed Calogero-Sutherland model and fractional Quantum Hall effect

The deformed Calogero-Sutherland (CS) model is a quantum integrable system with arbitrary numbers of two types of particles and reducing to the standard CS model in special cases. We show that a

MATRIX-MODEL DUALITIES FROM CONFORMAL FIELD THEORY

Using the large-N conformal invariant collective field formulation, of the dual matrix model, a strong-weak coupling duality is displayed in terms of the generators of the conformal group. In the
