Various drugs including antihypertensives, anxiolytics, antibiotics, antidepressants, corticosteroids, choline, indomethacin, levodopa, metronidazole, neuroleptics, oral contraceptives, sulphonamides and physostigmine have been reported to produce depression as a side effect.
