Despite recent advances, the treatment of brain diseases and neurological disorders, such as the Parkinson and Alzheimer syndromes, multiple sclerosis, brain cancer, psychiatric disorders, many forms of epilepsy, chronic pain, and migraine, remains a major challenge.
