The results of the questionnaire are presented, showing that veterinary officials and stakeholders are only just becoming aware of the strategy and implementation is at an early stage, and it will be necessary to continue building the capacity of the national Veterinary Services, strengthening public-private partnerships, modernising legislation and promoting veterinary involvement in animal welfare.
