Drell-Yan lepton-pair production: $q_T$ resummation at N$^3$LL accuracy and fiducial cross sections at N$^3$LO

title={Drell-Yan lepton-pair production: \$q\_T\$ resummation at N\$^3\$LL accuracy and fiducial cross sections at N\$^3\$LO},
author={Stefano Camarda and Leandro Cieri and Giancarlo Ferrera},
We present high-accuracy QCD predictions for the transverse-momentum (qT ) distribution and fiducial cross sections of Drell–Yan lepton pairs produced in hadronic collisions. At small value of qT we resum to all perturbative orders the logarithmically enhanced contributions up to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) accuracy, including all the next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (NLO) (i.e. O(α S)) terms. Our resummed calculation has been implemented in the public numerical… Expand

A massive variable flavour number scheme for the Drell-Yan process
The prediction of differential cross-sections in hadron-hadron scattering processes is typically performed in a scheme where the heavy-flavour quarks (c, b, t) are treated either as massless orExpand
Cuts for two-body decays at colliders
Fixed-order perturbative calculations of fiducial cross sections for two-body decay processes at colliders show disturbing sensitivity to unphysically low momentum scales and, in the case of H → γγExpand
Factorization of Power Corrections in the Drell-Yan Process in EFT
We examine the quark-induced Drell-Yan process at next-to-leading power (NLP) in Soft-Collinear Effective Theory. Using an approach with no explicit soft or collinear modes, we discuss theExpand
Fiducial Higgs and Drell-Yan distributions at N$^3$LL$^\prime$+NNLO with RadISH
We present state-of-the-art predictions for transverse observables relevant to coloursinglet production at the LHC, in particular the transverse momentum of the colour singlet in gluonfusion HiggsExpand

MCFM for the Tevatron and the LHC
A summary is given of the current status of the next-to-leading order (NLO) parton-level integrator MCFM. Some details are given about the Higgs + 2-jet process and the production and decay of t t ¯Expand
Transverse-momentum resummation and the spectrum of the Higgs boson at the LHC
Abstract We consider the transverse-momentum ( q T ) distribution of generic high-mass systems (lepton pairs, vector bosons, Higgs particles, …) produced in hadron collisions. At small q T , weExpand
DYTurbo: Fast predictions for Drell-Yan processes
Drell-Yan lepton pair production processes are extremely important for Standard Model (SM) precision tests and for beyond the SM searches at hadron colliders. Fast and accurate predictions areExpand
Vector boson production at hadron colliders: transverse-momentum resummation and leptonic decay
A bstractWe consider the transverse-momentum (qT) distribution of Drell-Yan lepton pairs produced, via W and Z/γ* decay, in hadronic collisions. At small values of qT, we resum theExpand
Fiducial qT resummation of color-singlet processes at N3LL+NNLO
Abstract We present a framework for qT resummation at N3LL+NNLO accuracy for arbitrary color-singlet processes based on a factorization theorem in SCET. Our implementation CuTe-MCFM is fullyExpand
Matching NNLO to parton shower using N$^3$LL colour-singlet transverse momentum resummation in GENEVA
We extend the Geneva Monte Carlo framework using the transverse momentum of a colour-singlet system as the resolution variable. This allows us to use next-to-next-to-next-to leading logarithm (NLL)Expand
Mixed QCD–EW corrections to pp→`ν`+X at the LHC
We consider the hadroproduction of a massive charged lepton plus the corresponding neutrino through the Drell–Yan mechanism. We present a new computation of the mixed QCD–EW corrections to thisExpand
Charged current Drell-Yan production at N3LO
We present the production cross section for a lepton-neutrino pair at the Large Hadron Collider computed at next-to-next-to-next-to leading order (N3LO) in QCD perturbation theory. We compute theExpand
Cusp and Collinear Anomalous Dimensions in Four-Loop QCD from Form Factors.
The approach is to Laurent expand four-loop quark and gluon form factors in the parameter of dimensional regularization and employ finite field and syzygy techniques to reduce the relevant Feynman integrals to a basis of finite integrals. Expand
Drell-Yan Cross Section to Third Order in the Strong Coupling Constant.
In the case of Higgs production, the hadronic cross section receives corrections at the percent level, and the residual dependence on the perturbative scales is reduced, but unlike in the Higgs case, the uncertainty band derived from scale variation is no longer contained in the band of the previous order.
