. Hawking evaporation of primordial black holes (PBHs) can facilitate the generation of matter-antimatter asymmetry. We focus on ultra-low mass PBHs that briefly dominate the expansion of the universe and evaporate before the big bang nucleosynthesis. We propose a novel test of this scenario through the detection of its characteristic doubly peaked gravitational wave (GW) spectrum in future GW observatories. Here the first order adiabatic scalar perturbations from inflation and the isocurvature…

Gravitational waves from a universe filled with primordial black holes
Ultra-light primordial black holes, with masses m PBH < 109g, evaporate before big-bang nucleosynthesis and can therefore not be directly constrained. They can however be so abundant that they
GUT baryogenesis with primordial black holes
In models of baryogenesis based on grand unified theories (GUTs), the baryon asymmetry of the Universe is generated through the $CP$ and baryon number violating, out-of-equilibrium decays of very

Beyond LISA: Exploring future gravitational wave missions
The Advanced Laser Interferometer Antenna (ALIA) and the Big Bang Observer (BBO) have been proposed as follow on missions to the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA). Here we study the
Black hole explosions?
QUANTUM gravitational effects are usually ignored in calculations of the formation and evolution of black holes. The justification for this is that the radius of curvature of space-time outside the
New cosmic microwave background constraint to primordial gravitational waves.
Current observations provide a constraint to the GW amplitude that competes with that from big-bang nucleosynthesis (BBN), although it extends to much lower frequencies (approximately 10(-15) Hz rather than the approximately 10(-10) Hz from BBN).
Detector configuration of DECIGO/BBO and identification of cosmological neutron-star binaries
The primary target for the planned space-borne gravitational wave interferometers DECIGO/BBO (Decihertz Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory/Big Bang Observer) is a primordial gravitational
