In addition to further studies using Doppler catheters to assess blood flow velocity during coronary angioplasty this study intends to evaluate the functional significance of coronary stenoses and to estimate their hemodynamic relevance prior to and after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA).
