This article is dedicated to domino tilings of square grids. In each of these grids domino tilings are represented using linear-recurrent sequences. For different grids are determined new dependencies.

A New Domino Tiling Sequence

In this short note, we prove that the sequence A061646 from Neil Sloane’s Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences is connected with the number of domino tilings of a holey square.
