A Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, non-motile, non-spore-forming bacterial strain, designated Gsoil 191T, was isolated from a soil sample from a ginseng field in Pocheon Province, South Korea, and was characterized taxonomically by using a polyphasic approach.
