Does this patient have delirium?

Introduction Delirium is a clinical syndrome long recognized to be associated with severe conditions, such as infections, terminal disease, and poor outcomes [1]. Recent clinical and basic research has enhanced our knowledge of ICU delirium as a syndrome that clinically manifests as acute brain dysfunction associated with critical illness [2]. Considering its importance, recent guidelines recommend systematic screening for delirium in critically ill patients [3].
