We have measured enzymatic, hemolytic and anticoagulant activities, lethal potencies and effects on contractions of the phrenic nerve-diaphragm preparation, by chemically modified derivatives of beta bungarotoxin (beta BuTX) and notexin, two presynaptically acting toxins which have PLA2 activity.
