A total of 52 nonrelated Caucasian patients (21 male, 31 female, age at onset of the disease: 7–74 years, average: 31.6 years) suffering from intermediate uveitis were tissue typed for 56 different HLA‐A, ‐B, ‐C and ‐DR‐antigens.
