We appreciate the letter of Panteghii et al. in which they try to find an explanation of the differences between their results (1) and ours (2) in the inhibition studies of U) isoenzymes. Increasing the lag time from 120 to 180 s decreased the test result in the chaotropic inhibition study by only 10%.
