Traumatic brain injury (TBI) may result in a variety of cognitive, behavioural and physical impairments. Dizziness has been reported in up to 80% of cases within the first few days after injury. The literature was reviewed to attempt to delineate prevalence of dizziness as a symptom, impairments causing dizziness, the functional limitations it causes and its measurement.
