In this chapter, we report new and known diterpenoids isolated from African medicinal plants, their structural diversity, and their bioactivity including antimicrobial and cytotoxicity. In addition, an overview concerning their nomenclature, structure determination, and biosynthesis is discussed. Compounds with a remarkable structure are further commented on, and known diterpenes of plant species collected in Africa are presented.
