  • The pimarane-type structures previously suggested for leucophleol (1) and leucophleoxol (2), two diterpenoids isolated from Acacia leucophloea, must be amended to the isopimarane-type derivatives 5 and 6, respectively. These corrections were supported on NMR spectroscopic studies and, in the case of 6, by an X-ray diffraction analysis.
