The cardiotropic activities of 111 diterpene alkaloids and their synthetic derivatives having lycoctine, heteratisine, napelline, and denudatine skeletons have been studied. It has been established that the overwhelming majority of these compounds exhibit a pronounced antiarrhythmic and antifibrillatory action, which is a finding of practical interest.
