  • SYNOPSIS. Ochromonas malhamensis contains folate derivatives active for Streptococcus faecalis, Pediococcus cerevisiae and Lactobacillus casei. These activities increase about 6-, 4- and 3-fold, respectively, on treatment with chicken liver conjugase, establishing the presence of polyglutamyl folates in the organism.
