The spatial distribution and bioaccumulation of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) in surface sediments and benthic organisms from Taihu Lake were studied. OCPs were detected in all sediment samples with total concentrations ranging from 4.22 to 461 ng g(-1) dry weight (dw).
