The paper addresses the problem of distributed generation efficient integration into the power system, taking into account the major technological parameters of the power network. The first part of the paper provides brief review of the mathematical approaches, used for power system optimization with distributed generation units from the following points of view: objective function formulation and mathematical apparatus, applied for optimization process.
