A new model for admission control and QoS adaptation of Distributed Multimedia Server Systems (DMSS) is presented in this paper. This model presents a strategy to select the optimal set requests and of QoS levels for the selected multimedia session requests from a set of submitted requests, so as to achieve maximum revenue from the customers of the DMSS while fully respecting all QoS guarantees.
