This study was performed to determine the most effective disinfectant against Salmonella bacteria. Three disinfectant wipes and three disinfectant sprays were tested against the bacteria, Clorox, Lysol, and Safeway. The disinfectants were tested by placing Salmonella bacteria on Petri dishes. The disinfectants were then applied to the Petri dishes and dishes were incubated for both 24 and 48 hours. After each incubation time, the zone of inhibition was measured.
