Discrete Ambiguities in the Measurement of the Weak Phase

Several methods have been devised for measuring the phase of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa 11 unitarity triangle, using decays of the type B ! DK. It is shown that these and other direct CP-violation measurements suuer from discrete ambiguity which is at least 8-fold.
