We study the discovery reach for nonstandard interactions (NSIs) in a neutrino factory experiment. After giving a theoretical, but model-independent, overview of the most relevant classes of NSIs, we present detailed numerical results for some of them. Our simulations take into account matter effects, uncertainties in the neutrino oscillation parameters, systematical errors, parameter correlations, and degeneracies. We perform scans of the parameter space, and show that a neutrino factory has…

Neutrino factory optimization for nonstandard interactions
We study the optimization of a neutrino factory with respect to nonstandard neutral current neutrino interactions, and compare the results to those obtained without nonstandard interactions. We
Study of nonstandard charged-current interactions at the MOMENT experiment
MuOn-decay MEdium baseline NeuTrino beam experiment (MOMENT) is a next-generation accelerator neutrino experiment looking for more physics study. We try to simulate neutrino oscillations confronting
Non-standard neutrino interactions at one loop
Neutrino oscillation experiments are known to be sensitive to Non-Standard Interactions (NSIs). We extend the NSI formalism to include one-loop effects. We discuss universal effects induced by
Non-standard interactions at a neutrino factory: correlations and CP violation
We explore the potential of several Neutrino Factory (NF) setups to constrain, discover and measure new physics effects due to Non-Standard Interactions (NSI) in propagation through Earth matter. We
Supernovae as laboratories for neutrino properties
The present thesis aims to be an analysis of various aspects of neutrino phenomenology in two different scenarios. On the one hand, we address the study of non-standard neutrino interactions (NSI) in
Non-standard interactions in propagation at the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment
A bstractWe study the sensitivity of current and future long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments to the effects of dimension six operators affecting neutrino propagation through Earth, commonly
Resolving CP violation by standard and nonstandard interactions and parameter degeneracy in neutrino oscillations
In neutrino oscillation with non-standard interactions (NSI) the system is enriched with CP violation caused by phases due to NSI in addition to the standard lepton Kobayashi-Maskawa phase δ. In this
Probing nonstandard neutrino physics by two identical detectors with different baselines
The Kamioka-Korea two-detector system is a powerful experimental setup for resolving neutrino parameter degeneracies and probing CP violation in neutrino oscillation. In this paper, we study
