  • In the Middle East, disaster management planning is not limited to natural calamities but must also consider armed conflict disaster. After the burning of libraries in Iraq, Egypt, and Lebanon since 2003, we must ask in what way do those countries preserve their heritage? What practices do they have in place for times of war?
