A disaggregation function, rehtive size-growth (RSG), was proposed and developed for interior Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii var. glauca (Beissn) Franco) to distribute stand volume growth to a list of individual trees. The RSG function was formulated as a quadratic equation relating relative tree growth to relative tree size in a stand.
