The reflecting and transmitting effects of the planar unidirectionally conducting screen on electromagnetic fields are discussed in this paper. The source of the fields is an elementary electric dipole located at front of the screen and oriented arbitrarily. With the help of spectral-domain approach and Weyl's formulation, the electric field is first expressed in accurate and elementary functions.
