We studied the neuroprotective effect of lubeluzole, a NOS (nitric oxide synthase) pathway modulator, on the development of ischemic damage within the first six hours after a photochemically induced neocortical infarct in rats using diffusion-weighted MRI and Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) maps.
