Acid gases such as H[sub 2]S and CO[sub 2] are generally removed from natural gas, biogas, synthetic natural gas, and other process gas streams by means of absorption into aqueous alkanolamine solutions. A key parameter needed to model this diffusion with chemical reaction process in the liquid phase is the diffusion coefficient.
