We use perturbative QCD, beyond the leading $\ln Q^2$ approximation, to show how measurements of diffractive $J/\psi$ production at HERA can provide a sensitive probe of the gluon density of the proton at small values of Bjorken $x$. We estimate both the effect of the relativistic motion of the $c$ and $\overline{c}$ within the $J/\psi$ and of the rescattering of the $c\overline{c}$ quark pair on the proton. We find that the available data for diffractive $J/\psi$ photoproduction can…

Mass radius and mechanical properties of the proton via strange ϕ meson photoproduction

In this work, the cross sections of φ photoproduction are systematically investigated with the two gluon exchange model and the pomeron model. The results obtained show that the theoretical values of

Coherent photoproduction of heavy quarkonia on nuclei

The differential cross section of coherent photo-production of heavy quarkonia on nuclear targets is calculated within the QCD color dipole formalism. The higher-twist nuclear shadowing corresponding

Systematic analysis of the proton mass radius based on photoproduction of vector charmoniums

In this work, the cross-section of the reaction γ p → V ( J /ψ,ψ (2 S )) p from the production threshold to medium energy is studied and systematically analyzed within two gluon exchange model. The

2022 Research on proton mass radius and its mechanical properties via strange φ meson photoproduction

Analysis of the Contribution of Quantum Anomaly Energy to Proton Mass

Inspired by the recent Hall C and GlueX measurements of J /ψ photoproduction, a systematic analysis of the contribution of quantum anomalous energy (QAE) to the proton mass is carried out under the
