PURPOSE OF REVIEW Differentiated thyroid cancer is the most common endocrine malignancy in children. In 2006, the American Thyroid Association Guidelines Taskforce released detailed management recommendations for differentiated thyroid cancer, which primarily addressed the approach for treating adult patients.
