Abstract

Germination of Lepidium apetalum Wild. seeds is invariably arrested by cold stress. cDNA-amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) technique was used to isolate genes relevant to chilling stress (4 °C) during seedling emergence. 43 transcript-derived fragments (TDFs) were found to be up-regulated and 17 down-regulated during chilling stress.
