The effects of OPC-18790, a novel positive inotropic agent, on cardiac function and myocardial energy metabolism in the guinea-pig isolated heart with ischaemia were studied by 31P-magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and compared with those of amrinone and dobutamine. 2.
