Dimethoxycurcumin (Dimc), a metabolically stable analogue of curcumin, is under investigation as an anti-tumour agent. Recently a number of studies have been performed on Dimc in this laboratory and also by others. In the present article, all these results have been summarized and wherever possible compared with those of curcumin.
